There is a brand-new coffee shop opening this weekend, and the story behind it is about as local and heartwarming as it gets. A young husband-and-wife duo are launching Nautical Grounds Coffee Co.** **this Saturday, June 6th, and they’re celebrating by serving free coffee from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM!
Here’s the cool twist: they are operating right inside Jake’s Scuba Adventures on Best Avenue. The shop became a reality thanks to the owner's dad, who offered them the space inside his dive shop to bring their dream to life. Keeping with the underwater theme, they’re pulling shots using Megalodon—a rich medium roast from Seattle’s Anchorhead Coffee with notes of chocolate and caramel.
Swing by, grab a free brew, and give them the warmest Coeur d'Alene welcome!

Coeur Guide Roulette: Spin the Wheel 🎰🍻

If you’re following along on Instagram, you might've seen the debut of a new game I'm calling Coeur Guide Roulette. You guys sent in random numbers on my story, I matched them up against the 330+ amazing local restaurants currently listed in our directory, and let the wheel decide my next spot.
The wheel landed on Brewscape Beer Co. up in Hayden, and it did not disappoint. If you haven’t checked them out yet, it’s a fantastic, family-friendly brewery. They’re serving up award-winning craft beer alongside a delicious Southwestern-inspired menu. I ordered the fish tacos and both the beer and food was a 10/10, I will absolutely be back for more.
