Yacht parties, rodeo tickets, & new local spots to try this weekend 🚢☀️🍹
Happy Friday!
August is already flying by, and there is so much happening around town this weekend.
🍸 Featured Finds in CDA
• River & Rye is finally open in downtown CDA on Sherman! Inspired by the travels of Ernest Hemingway, this new craft cocktail bar features culinary flavors from Italy, France, and Spain while paying homage to Hemingway's special connection to Idaho and his love for Rye Whiskey. I haven't been in yet, but from what I've seen of the inside, it is a huge upgrade from the old stained green carpet at Crickets.
• Just down the street, a new food truck called 208 Banh Mi is opening soon in the East Sherman food truck lot. They’ll be serving up fresh Vietnamese food and banh mi sandwiches, and I can't wait to check them out.
• Speaking of food trucks, I tried Charcuteria & Kitchen in the Prairie Pavilion last weekend, and their gourmet sandwiches hit the spot! Definitely keep them in mind next time you’re craving something fresh and flavorful.
🎉 Local Events & Updates
I recently added some new Local Resources to the site, including local event companies throwing awesome parties around town. Last weekend, Next Wave Social threw an incredible Luau party at Marina 33, and tonight No Ego Nights is hosting their Coeur d'Amalfi yacht party featuring international DJ, Jerro. It’s not too late to join, grab your tickets here and come join me on the dance floor! 🛥️💃🪩
If house music isn't your thing, the North Idaho Fair (my personal favorite event of the year) is coming up quick! The rodeo nights are already almost sold out, but there are still tickets left for Lee Brice and Walker Hayes. If you want to go, plan ahead and grab your tickets now!
I hate to say it, but fall will be here before we know it. If there's a patio you've been wanting to try, a yacht party you want to go to, or anything else left on your summer bucket list, consider this your sign to do it this weekend! Happy summering, everyone! ☀️
