New spots coming to CDA, re-openings, and a weekend grand opening! ⛳️🥐

There’s so much going on this weekend, so if you thought the season was slowing down, you thought wrong! Grab your keys and a light jacket, because we have a action-packed weekend ahead. 

🍸 Featured Finds & Coming Soon

• Mik's is getting a major rebrand into the Patriot's Bar! It'll be a local sports bar with TVs, pool, darts, and a jukebox—open to the public and supporting our local VFW. (Sadly, no stripper pole or dance floor 😉)
• Keep an eye out on East Sherman for Sazia Pastry House! Known for their incredible booth at local events, this locally owned and operated bakery is bringing a permanent location to the neighborhood soon. 🥐
• Breakfast lovers, rejoice: Old European Express in CDA and Old European Restaurant in Hayden are both making progress and getting close to opening before the end of the year! 🥞
• Long-time Rathdrum staple Penny's Pit will be re-opening this fall, serving their gourmet burgers, sides and shakes! 🍔
• Another local favorite is making a comeback! Bottle Joy will be reopening after a few years off, setting up shop just a couple of blocks down the street in the old CDA Cider building on East Sherman. 🍻

🎉 Local Events & Updates

• Art Walk (Friday, 9/11 | 5–8 PM): Wander through the shops, catch live music, and see local artists in action. Make it a date night and try a new spot like River & Rye, or grab a huckleberry cream puff from Florette on your way through town!
• Riverstone Block Party & Brew Fest (Saturday, 9/12 | 1–6 PM): Beer, tunes, and community vibes. You can grab your tickets day-of or get them here. While you're over there, stop by Bunker Birdie for their Grand Opening (2–10 PM)! They’ve taken over the old Golf Island building and are serving up beer and wine alongside 5 golf simulators. Even if you're not a pro golfer, it’s a super fun activity as the weather cools down! ⛳️🍻
• Haul Ass to Harrison Car Show (Saturday, 9/12): If you’ve been looking for a reason to take a day trip down to Harrison, consider this your sign! Go check out the classic cars, take in the views, and pick out a lunch spot on CoeurGuide.com. 🚗💨
• CDA Flea Market (Sunday, 9/13 | 10 AM–3 PM): Head down to the Museum of North Idaho to browse vintage finds, maker goods, and local treasures. 🛍️
• Riverside Market (Sunday, 9/13 | 10 AM–3 PM): Happening at Marina 33 in Post Falls, this is the very last market of the season! If you haven't made it out yet, go check it out before it wraps up. 🌅
• It's a Love Story Fall Market (Sunday, 9/13 | 9 AM–3 PM): Calling all romance book lovers! It's a Love Story in Hayden is hosting their fall market featuring local authors, craft vendors, and bookish goodies. 📚💖
